You're always such a help
Angela,
I have been reading your articles and gaining advice from you for a few years now. Every now and then like today after making a Marketing Plan, thanks to you, I think it's a good idea to get a message to you and say once again: THANK YOU!
You have many jewels in your writer's crown for all your help. I am on my first two months of being a freelance writer after 13 years in public relations and 3 as a youth advisor in Manhattan's largest and most troubled high school. Now I am just doing some part time counseling work and pretty much a full-time writer! Sold my first biggee and thrilled... but with this marketing plan, I can really get cranking. Thank you, Angela, from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Angela,
Where do I start?
I really have to thank you for your unselfish service to those of us out here in the world who want to make a living from our writing. I'm not a copywriter (although I'm seriously considering your course), but I can't tell you how inspiring you have been to me since you started your newsletter last year. I was one of your first subscribers and I was down in the dumps about trying to start my own business. I brought Peter Bowerman's Well-Fed Writer and I read your newsletters and I have to say you have inspired me more than anyone else. Your writing is so straight forward and helpful, and you give so much of your time and expertise to writers that I never feel like your just trying to sell me something. You have even inspired me to start my own newsletter.
Although I am employed now, I now know that if I want to start my own small business on the side that I can do it and to totally believe in myself.
I never write letters like this to people out in the cyberworld, but I really wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do and keep up the good work.
Sincerely,

I just wanted to tell you how inspiring your article was in the latest Writer's Weekly newsletter. The paragraph about rejection really struck home. Today I received my first acceptance for an article from an editor I've been sending queries to for six months. She has always been very encouraging and says "already doing it" so to actually land an assignment [paying] was stupendous.
Thanks for your advice and a great article.

Hi Angela,
I just wanted to let you know I remain a follower, student, subscriber, and fan. Your two Baby Steps articles in today's ezine are just awesome. :-)
I have my own Reiki-Counseling practice, and I do freelance writing from time to time for extra money. I'm also, like so many people, writing a novel. I'm motivated to make more of my own business AND my own writing because of your enlightened articles. So thank you.
PeAcE, LoVe, and LiGhT always...

Hello,
Your articles are like gold. I print out almost all of them. I want you to know how much they are appreciated. They are friendly, reassuring, well-organized and informative. A great combination!
I am a "beginning writer."
I did get paid for an article but THEY asked ME for the article, nicely enough. So I am still in the beginnings of submitting. I am writing a couple of 500 word articles to avoid the "query", and taking a writing class to get some hand-holding while writing "queries."
So thank you again for all your encouragement. I will recommend your articles to others in my class, too.

Hi Angela!
I just wanted to thank you for sharing the link to OnlineHomeBase.com. What a nifty little service! And I thought your article on getting emails read was great, with tips other than the garden-variety stuff you see on Direct Marketing sites and whatnot. So, from this new web-business owner, thanks for a great little ezine, and best of luck with your own business.

eCourse: Writing Words that Sell — Freelance Copywriting
THANK YOU so much for this course and all of the coaching and support you've given to me over the weeks. I've gotten more focused than I've ever been before in my life — not only with my writing but with my creative process. And you've helped me build confidence in my skills and myself: I'm finally beginning to believe in what I can do. I can't think of a greater gift you could give!
Warmly,
Liz :]

a) Not qualified to do,
b) Not capable of doing.
I now know differently."

"Just a short note to let you know I've already got my third client. The process you laid out was so simple, I knew it would work, and it does.
I'm making plans to go full time soon."

Pro Write Membership
Thank you for everything. Over the years I've bought countless books on writing, but the money I've spent in becoming a member of ProWrite, has been the greatest asset of my writing career. (I'm a professional children's writer with over 60 books published.)

Hi Angela and Birgitt!
What great work you are both doing! Angela, your newsletters are like a breath of fresh air! I live in France and presently do translation work. I love it, but also want to develop my writing business. I have a slight problem marketing myself. And let's face it, in today's world that is SO necessary. But thanks to your site, among other things, I am gradually (hopefully) gaining the confidence necessary to go out and "pitch". Loved that article, can't wait to read through the workshop!!!
I love to write! I am going to check out all of your workshops! I do try to write something everyday. I loved your article on the comfort zone! You are so right! This said, I really would feel better if I could "generate" work/income on a regular basis... but this too will come... I hope!
You do shine light on the fun facets of writing and bring a lot of enthusiasm to the trade. Thanks for that! I look forward to participating more regularly on your site, in your forums! I think you are one of the internet's most best kept secrets and hidden treasures!!! And I just wanted to let you know!
Have a great day and THANKS.
